Our Philosophy
Nowadays, our choice seems limited with the fast pace world of technology. More and more products are mass produced where design becomes very limited. When we have special events that involve family and friends, we want to be able to have memories that will leave an imprint forever. By having the power of control with design, color, quantity amongst other aspects of an invite, you leave with an impression that will touch your heart.
How to Get Started
Beautiful Beginnings strongly believes in the satisfaction of our clients. You can contact us through e-mail, phone or fax. A general consultation will be set up. In this meeting, you tell us what you are looking for, ideas you have seen, and your dream package. If you live in the greater San Diego area, a physical meeting will be arranged, where details regarding your invitations will be discussed.
Design Process
Depending on the complexity, specifications and details, “mock-ups” are made to give you an idea of what your wedding invite will look like. Details of the invitation will be specifically catered to the information discussed in the first consultation meeting. These will be scanned and e-mailed to you, shipped to you or presented in meeting 2 of 4. Once the proof agreement contract is signed, production of project will begin. Please note, that once the PROOF AGREEMENT CONTRACT is signed, there will be no more corrections. Any errors found after signature will require additional material costs at the clients expense.
Materials
This is the foundation of your invites. Materials vary depending on the look you are going for. We offer a variety of colors, textures and sizes. We cater to what you are looking for and will give you control of your selection of paper. Beautiful Beginnings will guide you and suggest what looks best, but will never dispute the decision of a client.
Pricing
Because each client is different, each project will be different and will be priced according to materials, printing and product selections. BB works to satisfy the needs of our clients, taking into consideration budgets.
Shipping
If you will not be picking up your invitations, all shipping and handling fees will be included in the initial cost breakdown when contracts are signed.
Frequently asked questions
How many sets of what do I need to order?
We suggest that your order enough to cover your guest list and an additional 25 for keepsake purposes. Or for a more accurate count, 10% more of you order.
Do you design matching pieces for the event?
The answer is YES! We design matching pieces such as Save The Dates, ceremony & reception programs, place cards, table numbers, and more! We are not limited to the type of stationery you need, just ask us and we can help you!
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, paypal, and checks (Note: checks issued will require a 7 day wait period to clear)
What is the turnaround time to get them in?
Depending on the complexity of your order, the turnaround time can average 2 weeks or more.
How long in advance should I order my invitations?
The Knot's Wedding guide suggests to order your invitations as soon as you have your guest list. So five months before your wedding day. However, because Beautiful Beginnings allows you to customize your invitation, we suggest at least 9-12 months in advance in case you decide to change your design, wording and/or add details to your invitations and/or other stationary products you may have included in your package.
